This week on LR, we have the singular honour of doing something very unique. The motivational space gets alive with a very colourful collaboration. It is a colourful mix of motivation, entertainment and health enlightening discuss.
When in January 2004 Kofi Kusitor (MBE) actualized his vision of starting a music and conversation radio station to cater for the African and Afro-Caribbean community, little did he know that the seed he was sowing would continue to be dispersed across continents and climes. Palpable evidence from the ripple effect of the UK’s first global radio station, Colourful Radio, was felt when it was awarded the ‘Best Radio Station’ of the year at the Urban Music Awards 2015. There are many radio stations; however, very few are like Colourful (http://www.colourfulradio.com/) which is able to strike the balance of generating positive discuss, music and entertainment, against a background of diversity.
Last month, Colourful Radio Team led by it’s Culture and lifestyle chat host Sonia Poléon collaborated with LR, to air a most entertaining, motivational and health enlightening discuss on ethnic diversity and the role it plays in women’s health care in the United Kingdom.
With Mr Kofi Kusitor, British-Ghanaian Entrepreneur and alumnus of the London Guildhall Business School, who is one humble personality making things happen from behind the scenes and the multitalented energetic Sonia Poléon, Colourful can only soar!
